Sarah has over 12 years of experience in consumer marketing and research. She founded the Sephora North America primary research function in 2014, informing decisions across brand, product, experience, and strategy. During her tenure at market research agencies like Millward Brown and Kelton Global, Sarah advised Fortune 500 companies in retail, fashion, entertainment, technology, and FMCG. Early in her career, Sarah managed marketing and packaging for the brand Simplehuman where she found her love of consumer behavior and innovation. She graduated with a B.A. in Communications and Media from UNC Chapel Hill with minors in Art History and Chemistry; and an M.A. in Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences from Columbia University.
