Tom Zegar

Tom entered the workforce right out of High School in 1982 working for the family Home Video business, MPI Home Video while attending Moraine Valley Junior College at night. Tom’s initial responsibility involved aiding entrepreneurs in opening new video stores by helping them choose locations, setup rental systems, organize their stores and sell them the video inventory they needed to operate.

After doing this for three years, the entrepreneurial bug bit him and he opened his own store, Pulse Video, Inc. which featured hard-to-find non-fiction titles as well as the usual Hollywood fair. This store became of one of the most successful independent stores in the south suburbs and he eventually sold to a large chain in 1995.

After selling his video store, he joined Jaffer and Anisa to cofound PulseTV, a television infomercial company. Tom managed all of the agency relationships and oversaw all media buying. Currently Tom continues to manage the outside media sources such as publishers and affiliate networks, and works closely with human resources, accounting and warehousing.
